Women’s Golf Opens 2026-27 Season at Trine Kickoff Classic

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Capital University women’s golf team opened up the 2026-27 season with a competition at the Trine Kickoff Classic in Angola, Indiana on Tuesday afternoon. There, the Comets placed ninth out of 12 teams, carding an 18-hole score of 363. The hosts, Trine, won the event with a 18-hole score of 313. Emma Konopa led the Comets with a T-26th finish individually thanks to a round of 87. She carded one birdie on the 16th hole.
