Women’s Soccer Drops Season Opener to Widener

BALTIMORE – The Notre Dame of Maryland women’s soccer team opened the 2026 campaign with a 3-1 loss at the hands of Widener this afternoon at the Turf Field Sponsored by the SSNDs. The Gators opened the scoring in the first half, with freshman Taylor Edwards pouncing on a loose ball and scoring her first collegiate goal past Widener keeper Araba Abanyie.
