Brown, Simpson named Dixie Turman State Farm Agency Student-Athletes of the Week

COMMERCE – East Texas A&M University volleyball player Ariana Brown and football player Micah Simpson are the first Dixie Turman State Farm Agency Student-Athletes of the Week for the 2026-27 academic year. Brown (Conroe) has already been named the Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week and to the Lion Invitational All-Tournament team. She accumulated 44 kills, three total blocks, and two service aces in 2-1 start for the Lions at home this past weekend, winning in three sets over Texas Southern and in five sets over ULM.
