Girls Tennis takes fourth at Charger Invite in Champaign

The OTHS varsity girls tennis team opened their season on Saturday, August 22, at the Charger Invite in Champaign, Illinois. The team placed fourth out of 14 teams, with only Conant, Wheaton Warrenville, and Dunlap placing above them. Notable performances by Sophomore Claire Bridgeman and Junior Claire Hruby helped them to place fifth in their draws at #1 and 2 singles.All doubles and singles entries won their first round matches, which amounted to eight team points.
