Gophers Extend Contract for Strodel

MINNEAPOLIS - University of Minnesota Thomas O. Moe Director of Athletics Mark Coyle announced Wednesday that rowing head coach Alicea Strodel has agreed to a contract extension that will keep her with the Golden Gophers through the 2029-30 season. Strodel has guided the Maroon and Gold for the past seven seasons after taking over the program in the summer of 2019. Under her direction, the Gophers have consistently competed among the Big Ten's top programs, while continuing to develop student-athletes and strengthening the program's foundation.
