Late Nwosu Equalizer Lifts Hawks to 1-1 Draw with Purdue Northwest

QUINCY, Ill. – The Quincy University men’s soccer team battled through a hot Wednesday morning at Legends Stadium, scoring with seconds remaining to earn a 1-1 draw against Purdue Northwest in its final non-conference match before GLVC play. Neither side found the back of the net during the opening 45 minutes. Purdue Northwest controlled much of the possession in its attacking half and generated seven first-half shots, but Quincy goalkeeper Jake Offerman turned away all three attempts on goal to keep the match scoreless.
