S&T Hosts Upper Iowa in Conference Opener

By: Payton Siebert, Assistant Director of Athletic Communications ROLLA, Mo. - Following a 3-2 victory over Missouri Southern on Sunday afternoon, Missouri S&T women's soccer will open Great Lakes Valley Conference play Friday when it hosts Upper Iowa at the S&T Soccer Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. The Miners enter Friday's contest with a 1-1 record after splitting their first two matches of the season. S&T opened the year with a 1-0 setback against Central Missouri on Aug. 27 before bouncing back with a 3-2 victory over Missouri Southern three days later.
