UIW Men Open Cross Country Season with Twilight Win
SAN ANTONIO -- The University of the Incarnate Word men's cross country team continued its dominance of the UIW Twilight, winning the event for the sixth year in a row Tuesday. The season-opening race, renamed the Sam Musgrave UIW Twilight, saw the Cardinals come away with 28 points, well ahead of runner-up Texas State (57) and third-place UTSA (63). While Texas State's Jaxon Asbill (18:15.69) and UTSA's Andruw Villa (18:17.47) took the top-two spots, positions 3-6 all went to the Cardinals.
