Women’s Cross Country Ready for Season Opening 5K

CARROLLTON, Ga.- The University of West Georgia women's cross country team is set to open its 2026 campaign on Friday at the Foothills Invitational at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, Alabama, at 8:30 a.m. The meet marks the Wolves' first race of the 2026 season. The Wolves are led by senior Reatta Danhof, who currently holds two of the top-five times in UWG history in the 5K. Danhof owns a personal-best time of 18:21.8, which ranks fourth all-time, while her time of 18:39.8 ranks fifth all-time in program history.
