Women’s Golf Tees Off Season, Tops Calvin

The Hope College women’s golf team opened the 2026 season with a victory over Calvin University on Tuesday at Clearbrook Golf Course, posting a team score of 319 to defeat the Knights by 14 strokes. Sophomore Kylie Gernaat (Kalamazoo, Michigan / Kalamazoo Christian) led the Flying Dutch, carding a 4-over 76 to finish as Hope’s top individual.
