Burgin Drops Volleyball Home Opener To Royals
Wesley Bird Herald Staff [email protected] The Burgin Bulldogs volleyball team dropped their home opener to the Frankfort Christian Royals, 0-3, on Thursday, Aug. 27. The Bulldogs couldn’t get the serve in bounds to start the first set, but the score was quickly evened up with the Royals getting called for a net interference, 1-1. Burgin’s low ceiling cost them a point and an error from the back line gave Frankfort Christian the lead, 1-4. Both sides had some off-target serves to start the game, 3-6.
