Byron Nelson's two-time defending state champion volleyball team survived a serious challenge from Flower Mound, rallying from a 2-0 set deficit to win a five-set match and push their winning streak to 79 consecutive victories. Texas A&M commit and setter Sophee Peterson led the Bobcats' comeback, while Flower Mound junior Aleah Edmond, committed to Grand Canyon University, gave the Jaguars a strong case for the upset. The match went down to the wire in Set 5 before a Jaguar service error handed Nelson the win.
