Clarkstown South opens season with a 50-0 win over Kennedy Catholic

WEST NYACK — Jaxon Strickland ran for three touchdowns, and Landon Van Etten and Jake Beddows ran for two each as Clarkstown South routed visiting Kennedy Catholic 50-0 on Thursday in the opener for both teams. The Vikings' defense didn't yield a single first down. Clarkstown South hosts Rye at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10. Kennedy has a bye next week.
