Field Hockey Drops Tightly-Contested Season Opener to Stockton

BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Bryn Mawr field hockey team opened the 2026 season against Stockton, falling 2-1 in a tightly-contested battle with the Ospreys at Shillingford Field on Thursday afternoon. Highlights: Stockton (2-0) put the pressure on Bryn Mawr (0-1) throughout the first quarter, forcing sophomore goalkeeper Sydney Wright to make a trio saves in the opening frame.
