Braves Cross Country Opens 2026 Season at Mississippi Christian Opener

CLINTON, Miss. – The Alcorn State Braves cross country teams opened the 2026 season Friday afternoon at the Mississippi Christian Opener, hosted by Mississippi Christian University. LADY BRAVES The Lady Braves were led by sophomore Lanise Chilton, who finished 39th overall with a time of 22:22.21. Sophomore Erin Barr followed in 44th at 22:54.98, while junior Jasmine Robertson placed 59th with a time of 24:42.20. Freshman Malinda McCray finished 66th at 25:23.50, followed by sophomore Dshunti Stevens in 77th at 28:07.08.
