Charraz and Abbott Propel Men’s Soccer to Shutout over Clark

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Sophomore Diogo Charraz and junior London Abbott scored their first collegiate goals 2:07 apart in the second half to lift the Union College men’s soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Clark University in non-conference action on Friday night at College Park Field. In the teams’ first meeting in 51 years, Union (1-1) controlled play for much of the evening, doubling up Clark (1-1) in shots by a 14-7 margin and holding an almost 2-for-1 edge in possession.
