Late Winner Fuels #5 GVSU Over Bemidji State

MANKATO, Minn. – The No. 5 Grand Valley State women’s soccer team defeated Bemidji State 2-1 behind a late game-winning goal by Sonya Mehta in the 85 th minute Friday (Sept. 4) evening. The Lakers improve to 2-0-1 on the season. GVSU opened the scoring off the foot of Sonya Mehta in the 21 st minute.
