Milwaukee Bucks sign 7-foot center John Butler Jr.

The Milwaukee Bucks will open up training camp the last week of September, and the team added to its preseason roster by announcing the signing of 7-foot center John Butler Jr. on Sept. 4. The organization has familiarity with the 23-year-old, as Butler played 49 games with its G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, last season. He averaged career highs in points (9.4), and rebounds (5.8) and recorded 1.7 blocks per game in about 29 minutes per appearance. He also suited up for the team during summer league in the offseason.
