Roadrunners defeat Tarleton State Volleyball in UTSA Invitational

SAN ANTONIO – UTSA defeated Tarleton State Volleyball 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-13) in the UTSA Invitational on Friday night at the Convocation Center. The Roadrunners (3-2, 0-0) finished with 37 kills to finish hitting .347. Tarleton State (1-4, 0-0) was forced into 26 attack errors with its 27 kills. UTSA picked up its first win over Tarleton State in the Division I era and its first over the Texans since 1983. Freshman middle blocker Onita Davis led the Texans’ attack with nine kills on Friday.
