Severe weather suspends No. 7 W&L vs. William Smith in first half
LEXINGTON, Va. – Severe weather forced the suspension of Friday evening’s women’s soccer game between No. 7 Washington and Lee and William Smith. With 20:37 remaining in the first half, teams were sent to their respective locker rooms for a lightning delay. Lightning and severe rain showers persisted until roughly 7:00 p.m. At that point, both teams agreed on suspending the game. No date or time to resume the contest has been announced.
