Sharks Come Up Short Against Menlo
ATHERTON, California – Hawai'i Pacific traveled to Wunderlich Field on Friday afternoon, where the Oaks topped the Sharks, 3-0, in a non-conference match up. Menlo broke through in the 13th minute when Leilani Phillips scored, unassisted, to make it 1-0. The Sharks had chances of their own in the opening half, with Lisette Almanza testing Oaks goalkeeper Caroline Cordes twice, in the 22nd and then in the 25th minutes, while Lauren Longworth also had an early look in the first minute.
