Vero Beach star QB Champ Monds likely out vs. St. Frances Academy

Vero Beach senior quarterback Wonderful "Champ" Monds IV is not expected to play in Friday night's highly-anticipated matchup with national powerhouse St. Frances Academy at the Citrus Bowl. Monds, a four-star prospect and Notre Dame commit, was seen wearing a white shirt and black gym shorts with a sling on his left arm during pre-game warmups. He did not participate in any drills and stood behind his fellow quarterbacks holding a Gatorade towel.
