Volleyball Drops Second Game of Denver Invitational in Five-Set Battle with Marist

DENVER, Colo. – SIUE volleyball battled Marist University through five sets Friday evening in their second match of the Denver Invitational, but the Cougars ultimately fell to the Red Foxes in a tightly contested match. SIUE claimed the first and third sets, taking a 2-1 lead heading into the fourth. Marist then responded by taking the fourth set to force a fifth, where they would ultimately rally from behind to claim the win.
