Webber Volleyball Battles St. Thomas in Conference Opener

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — The Webber International University women's volleyball team opened Sun Conference play Friday afternoon, battling St. Thomas University before falling 0-3 (12-25, 20-25, 19-25) at the St. Thomas University Gymnasium. The Warriors entered the conference matchup looking to build on their early-season experience and competed throughout all three sets against the Bobcats. Webber found its strongest offensive rhythm in the second set, recording 11 kills while keeping the Bobcats within striking distance for much of the frame.
