Women’s tennis falls to UW-Whitewater

Riley Vu UW-WHITEWATER, Wis. — The Augustana Vikings women’s tennis team fell to the UW-Whitewater Warhawks by a score of 6-1 on Friday to kick off the season. The Warhawks took the early lead after conquering all three doubles matchups. In singles action, Anna-Maria Huebel secured the No. spot, but Whitewater secured the other five matches to take the dual 6-1. With the loss, the Vikings start the season with a 0-1 record and will be back in action tomorrow for the Warhawk Invitational.
