Broncos Improve to 2-0 with Four-Set Victory Over Georgia College

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – Fayetteville State continued its strong opening weekend, improving to 2-0 on the season with a 3-1 victory over Georgia College Saturday morning at Kornegay Arena in the Mt. Olive Pickle Invitational. The Broncos rebounded from a first-set loss to claim the next three sets, 20-25, 25-20, 25-17, and 25-16. After dropping the opening set, Fayetteville State settled into rhythm offensively and defensively, hitting .217 as a team while recording 51 kills, 13 service aces, and 62 digs.
