Cardinals swept by High Point in tournament finale

LYNCHBURG, Va. — Lamar University dropped its final match of the Liberty Mountain Madness tournament Saturday afternoon at Liberty Arena, falling to High Point in straight sets, 25-22, 25-21, 25-16. The Cardinals fell behind 6-3 before rallying with four consecutive points to take an 8-7 lead. Rihanna Bryant , Kinley Elms and Maja Malinowska recorded kills during the run while Bryant added a service ace.
