Eagles Split Matches on Final Day of Captains Classic

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Juniata women’s volleyball team split two matches on Saturday, defeating the Violets of New York University (NYU) 3-0 and falling to the Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds 1-3 on the final day of the Captains Classic. The Eagles got an early lead in the opening match against the Violets after completing a 7-2 run and never looked back. The biggest lead of the set for the Eagles came at 18-10.
