Fairbanks earns top 10 as XC opens season at Stegemoller Screagle Twilight

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Bellarmine University cross country opened the 2026 season Friday night in the four-team Stegemoller Screagle Twilight hosted by Southern Indiana. Bellarmine had a top 10 finisher on the men's side in sophomore Jared Fairbanks , who placed seventh while clocking an 18:32.7 in the 6k race. The Knights had a second runner in the top 15 in junior Salah Farah , who took 11th in 18:41.4. Freshman Henry Kiser (23rd, 19:15.3), junior Jack Ballard (24th, 19:21.2) and junior Ben Hunter (25th, 19:21.7) rounded out the men's top 5.
