Hawks, Patriots Rivalry Provided Electric Night on the Pitch

MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Chowan men’s soccer team dropped a tough league rival match against Francis Marion University on Saturday night with a final of 3-2. The Chowan and FMU rivalry stems from both team’s successes within the league over the last several seasons. Saturday night’s match up showcased some of the best talent in the league between the rivaled teams. Chowan’s Martino Lalli and Owen Sweeney netted goals in the game while keeper Lucas Kibrya played brilliantly in the frame with 12 total saves.
