Jacks Fall to Jessup in Five-Set Redwood Coast Volleyball Classic Finale

ARCATA, Calif. – Cal Poly Humboldt women’s volleyball took the opening two sets and fought off match point in the fifth, but Jessup completed a comeback to defeat the Lumberjacks 3-2 Saturday afternoon in the finale of the Redwood Coast Volleyball Classic inside Lumberjack Arena. The Warriors won by set scores of 19-25, 12-25, 25-20, 25-23 and 16-14. HOW IT HAPPENED The opening set was tied at 12-12 before Humboldt took control behind Claire Crawford’s serving.
