Men’s Soccer Comes Up Short Against Wesleyan, 3-2

Middletown, Conn. – September 5, 2026 – The Springfield College men’s soccer team fell to Wesleyan, 3-2, on Saturday afternoon at Smith Field. The Pride move to 0-1-1 on the season, while the Cardinals improve to 1-0-0 following the victory. Connor Policarpio (Bristol, Conn.) and Cooper Kassan (Huntington, N.Y.) both scored their first goals of the season in the loss. Wesleyan struck first in the 15th minute, giving the Cardinals an early advantage on their home field.
