Pioneers Rally Past Colorado School of Mines for First Win of Season

HAYWARD, Calif. — Cal State East Bay earned its first win of the 2026 season Friday afternoon, rallying for a five-set victory over Colorado School of Mines at Pioneer Gymnasium, 25-18, 17-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-8. East Bay came out strong in the opening set, recording 14 kills while hitting .286 to take an early advantage with a 25-18 win. Colorado School of Mines responded over the next two frames.
