Pioneers Win Denver Invitational With Four-Set Victory Over Marist

DENVER – The University of Denver volleyball team defeated Marist in four sets, 25-23, 25-21, 22-25, 25-23, on Saturday inside Hamilton Gymnasium. With the victory, the Pioneers went 3-0 at the Denver Invitational and improved to 5-1 on the season. LEADERS Jamia Johnson led the Pioneers with 17 kills while hitting .353, while Alicia Thibodeau added 13 kills with a .286 hitting percentage. Elise Hart contributed eight kills while hitting .333.
