Spartans Place Third in Season Opener

LAKELAND, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's cross country team opened its 2026 season with a third-place finish at Uncle Nick's XC Bagel Run on Saturday morning at Holloway Park. Tampa scored 78 points in the six-kilometer race, finishing behind team champion Florida Southern with 15 points and runner-up Florida Tech with 52. The Spartans recorded a combined time of 1:37:55 and averaged 19:35 among their five scoring runners.
