VB: Cowgirls Fall To Illinois In Final Match Of Rice Invitational

HOUSTON, Texas— McNeese volleyball dropped its final match of the Rice Invitational to Illinois (2-2), a team that received votes in this week’s AVCA poll. The Cowgirls fell in straight sets (25-14, 25-11, 25-22) Saturday afternoon. McNeese (0-6) will return to action next weekend with three more road matches beginning with a match at UL-Monroe on Thursday, at Grambling on Friday, and will close out the weekend with a match at Louisiana Tech on Saturday.
