Volleyball Falls in Tight Four-Set Contest to Vanguard

IRVINE -- The Cal State Dominguez Hills volleyball team came close to notching its first win of the 2026 campaign against Vanguard this afternoon, but ultimately fell to the Lions in a four-set contest, 23-25, 22-25, 25-21, 17-25. Jaidan Alexander (pictured) paced the Toros with 10 kills while Anna Sanzaro hit a sizzling .615 on the afternoon. CSUDH hit .106 for the contest that included .313 in the victorious third set, putting away 16 balls against six attack errors.
