Volleyball Scores Eight Straight In Fifth Set To Seal Win Over Bears

BALTIMORE – Ava Nepkin kicked off an 8-0 Loyola University Maryland run in the fifth set with one of her team-high 17 kills on Saturday afternoon, and the Greyhounds secured a road victory at Morgan State University, 25-19, 25-19, 24-26, 22-25, 15-6. Nepkin and Morgan Crawford combined for 32 kills with Crawford’s 15 giving both players season-high totals in the same match. Sydnee Peters added a season-best seven kills.
