Women’s Soccer Tops UPJ in PSAC West Play

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — The Edinboro women's soccer team defeated Pitt.-Johnstown 4-2 in PSAC West play on Saturday. The Scots came out fast with Samantha Saylor forcing an early save at 1:05. Edinboro grabbed a 1-0 lead at the 4:20 mark when Jordyn Miller scored off an assist from Adison Cook . The Fighting Scots continued to apply pressure with shots from Miller, Grace Madison and Sydney Patterson early in the first half. At 39:33, Abriella Whatmore had a shot saved and Saylor jumped on the rebound to put the Scots up 2-0. Edinboro took that 2-0 lead into the break....
