Women’s Soccer Tripped up by Sacred Heart in Metro Opener

Alexandra Riehl scored both goals and Kyran Thievon stopped all six shots she faced to lift Sacred Heart to a 2-0 victory over Canisius in Metro Conference women’s soccer action Saturday at the Demske sports Complex in downtown Buffalo. In the conference opener for both programs, Riehl found the back of the net in both halves to pace the Pioneers (6-0-0, 1-0-0 Metro) attack.
