Women’s Tennis: Women’s Tennis: Hawks Move to 3-0 After Battle with Lyons

NORTON, Mass. — The Roger Williams University Women’s Tennis team remained unbeaten with a 5-2 victory over Wheaton College on Saturday afternoon at the Clark Tennis Courts. Claire Dwyer (Manchester, Maine) and Ella Mancini (Middlebury, Conn.) opened doubles competition with a 6-2 victory over Lily Runyan and Taylor Wilson at No. 3. Valentina Abarca (Riobamba, Ecuador) and Iris Gkrekou (Athens, Greece) secured the doubles point by defeating Laila Haraj-Sai and Asia-Leigh Hollis, 6-4, in the top flight.
