XC Sweeps Big Wave Invitational to Open 2026 Season

KAHUKU, O’ahu – The Hawaiʻi women’s cross country team kicked off the 2026 season in dominant fashion on Saturday morning, capturing their sixth consecutive team title at the Big Wave Invitational. Competing at Kahuku Golf Course for the first time since 2024, the Rainbow Wahine swept the top six individual spots to finish with a perfect team score of 15 points. Mikaella Martin led the charge for Hawaiʻi, winning the individual 5k title with a time of 18:34.30.
