Ball State Slips By EIU Women’s Soccer, 1-0

Ball State scored what proved to be the only goal of the contest in the 32nd minute on Sunday as the Cardinals handed visiting Eastern Illinois a 1-0 loss in Muncie, Ind. The goal came from Kaelyn Valleau as BSU finished with seven total shots on goal in the match. EIU goalkeeper Ella Kratochvil was able to turn away the other six. EIU finished with five total shots in the match with one shot on goal by freshman Amara Leppla . She finished with two of EIU's total shots in the contest.
