Cougars Dominate Eckerd for First Home Win

COLUMBUS, Ga. | The Columbus State University Women’s Soccer team secured its first home victory of the season Sunday afternoon, earning a dominant 6-0 win over previously unbeaten Eckerd College at the Walden Soccer Complex. Shania Wegesend powered the Cougars’ fast start with two goals in the opening 16 minutes. Wegesend put CSU ahead in the 11th minute before striking again less than five minutes later off an assist from Mia Robinson.
