Cross Country Opens 2026 Season with Runner-Up Finish at Big Wave Invitational
KAHUKU, Hawai’i – Hawai’i Hilo Women’s Cross Country opened the 2026 season with a runner-up finish at the Big Wave Invitational (5K) on Saturday morning at the Kahuku Golf Course. The Vulcans finished ahead of Pacific West Conference foes HPU (third) and Chaminade (fourth) and behind host UH Manoa (Division I), which swept the top five individual placements.
