Details Emerge On WR Michael Wilson’s Negotiations With Cardinals

The Cardinals and Michael Wilson recently came to terms on a three-year, $75MM extension that will keep the 26-year-old wideout under club control through 2029. We now have more details on the numbers as well as the negotiations that gave rise to the agreement. The initial report on the deal indicated Wilson will receive $47MM in guarantees. Per OverTheCap.com, roughly $35MM of that number is guaranteed at signing, which includes an $18MM signing bonus and fully-guaranteed base salaries in 2026 ($1.49MM) and 2027 ($15.86MM).
