Football Falls to Illinois College, 28-13

ELMHURST, Ill. — The Elmhurst University football team fell 28-13 to Illinois College in its season opener on Saturday afternoon at Langhorst Field. Elmhurst (0-1) only trailed 7-0 at halftime, but a three touchdown third quarter from the Blueboys allowed Illinois College (1-0) to take control of the game. The Bluejays responded in the fourth quarter with a 27-yard touchdown run by Jonathan Billions . Billions totaled 82 yards on 21 carries in his collegiate debut.
