Highlanders Fall to Monmouth, 3-0, Sunday Afternoon

NEWARK, N.J. — The NJIT women's soccer team fell to Monmouth, 3-0, Sunday afternoon at Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium. NJIT generated 13 shots with five on goal, but Monmouth finished with a 21-13 shot advantage and took 17 shots in the second half -- a half in which the Hawks expanded on a 1-0 lead to score twice within a 15-minute span.
