Lady Panthers Go 3-1 at Black Excellence Volleyball Classic

The Virginia Union University volleyball team won three of four matches at the Black Excellence Volleyball Classic, held September 4-5 at Albany State University in Albany, Ga. The Lady Panthers opened the tournament Friday with a 3-1 victory over Benedict College before falling to host Albany State University 3-0. VUU bounced back Saturday, defeating Allen University 3-1 and Savannah State University 3-1 to finish the weekend with three victories.
