WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Elon women’s soccer team (4-1-2) played American (0-4-2) to a scoreless 0-0 draw Sunday at Reeves Field in its final road nonconference contest. The Phoenix attempted 22 shots in the match, with 15 coming after halftime. American became the first team to hold Elon off the scoresheet this season after the Phoenix had netted 21 goals in its first six outings.
